Two chairs, two ropes spread vertically and horizontally. A table which produces sounds and three characters who are facing the routine of their everyday lives and are looking for a way out of the gloomy present and running away from an uncertain tomorrow - the stories of their lifes could as well be taken from any
average Slovenian town. Will they be able to escape the everyday routine? Or will the journey drag them even deeper into the growing insanity of their everyday lives?
The performance is a new slovenian production that dwelves on the disfunctional relationships in our everyday lifes and portraits it through the language of contemporary circus and live music that can be understood as the background as well as a main part of the show.
Kolektiv Cirkusarna NaokROG, is a Colective that was formed as a way to organize the small community of circus artists in Ljubljana and to find a place where contemporary circus couldbe practiced and performed. Four years ago they found refuge in an Autonomus factory Rog – a former bycicle factory that was squated twelve years ago. Vision was collective production, creation and other work of different colectives
and individuals (sports, martial arts, social center, refugge collective, filosof collective, multifunctional collective, fquer-feminist collective, circus collective, visual artists, scaters, ...).
Cirkusarna NaokROG was a space and a collective which produces regular and project classes, cabares, festivals, performances, ... at the same time is a group which is making ther own contemporary circus productions. They vision is to spread circus sceene in Slovenia and to safeguard autonomous spaces, as they
offer precious ways of learning, sharing and creating.
